I’m interested in buying the $59 press. I’d like to see some pics of the press with the pans that i’ve been reading about here in the forum. Would the Norwalk plate work with a flat piece of stainless steel on top? Thanks!!

Thanks for the pics. Correct me if I’m wrong but you’re using one small loaf pan (with two black metal pieces that come with the press) for the press’s bar to push against, one bigger loaf pan to keep the small pan and a juice bag. This pan has a hole in one corner? so that juice comes out and then flows into another pan. Nothing else in the bigger loaf pan on the press? I’m wondering if there’s any juice that gets sucked up to the bag when the pressure is released.

Yes to all the pans questions. My wife turns the bag to another position and presses until as much juice comes out as is feasible. If some juice is reabsorbed after two pressings, it would be a very small amount.

I can’t find the 1222-2vga either. Is there a way to post a link to your pictures of your machine?

Harbor Freight has a 1222-5vga for $69. Is that the one?
