I recently bought a norwalk 270 model and I experience overheating. Yes, I have been taking all the precautions needed. I even keep the cutter very cold and I still experience overheating only after juicing 1 pint of vegetables (no greend) with grid 1. I was told that I can send the machine back. I was also told that they never heard such a complaint in the past and they never had a machine returned. This is however at odds with what I have been reading in these posts in relation to the 270 model. I would like to know whether I should ask for an older model instead of the 270 model – are there people with 270 model who don’t experience overheating at all? Many thanks.

Hi Sofia, Do yoou have the juicer manual? If so double check the grid size you are using for juicing. Is your machine new or used? I am happy to help you find a solution…paul
