In the part of the country I live in, there are a lot of Indians. So, The Whole Foods carries organic turmeric to cater to their culinary needs.

Visited numerous Whole Food stores, grocery stores and health food outlets. Cannot find turmeric plants anywhere. I did find some turmeric pills but not plants.
