Topic: Talk about Juicing / Preserving juices Juice tends to taste and go flat after 1 day so we save juice for 1 day max. Saving juice for longer than 1 day is like wasting money because you don’t get your moneys’ worth of nutrition from the juice and veggies are getting too expensive not to get the full benefit. We juice daily but if not, then every other day. |

Topic: Talk about Juicing / Bag Maintenance - Suggestions I have problems with clogged bags even with following the mfg instructions. One method of keeping the bag from getting permanently clogged is: Hydrogen peroxide bag soak. Wait 10 minutes until it stops bubbling. Repeat procedure again. Any other suggestions? |

Topic: Buy or Sell / 270S for sale used 3 times. $1500 My wife and I received the 270S as a wedding present but we unfortunately do not have room in our apartment to house the beautiful machine. We have a 270S which has been used only 3 times. We have all the original equipment (except for the box). The machine is in Cambridge, MA where it can be picked up or I can box and ship it UPS (buyer pays shipping and packing fees). This machine is in pristine condition and just needs to find a home it can fit in. We are sad to have to part with it, but 1 bedroom apartments and Norwalk Juicers don’t seem to live well together. Interested parties please post to this ad or email me at eli.s@comcast.net |

Topic: Buy or Sell / 270 S and 270 Woodgrain for sale I have been collecting norwalks for many years now. I am selling two of my 270s: a 270S and a 270 Woodgrain. The only difference between them is that the cabinet on one is woodgrain. But the rest of the juicer is identical with the 270S. All parts in contact with the juice are stainless. When you buy these juicers new the only difference in cost is $100.00. For myself, I tend to prefer the woodgrain because it is muche easier to keep clean in appearance. They are in very good condition and have been thoroughly checked out and refurbished where needed as in new bags, cloths, pusher etc. The hydraulics have been rebuilt. I am asking $1600.00 each or $2900.00 for the pair. I offer personal delivery anywhere within 200 miles of Toronto. I am willing to ship from the US. I will personally demonstrate these juicers by appointment. So, if you need a juicer or advice that is like new get in touch with me. |

Topic: Buy or Sell / Norwalk 225 Dear Ronald, Unfortunately, Western Union Money Orders have a very bad reputation when it comes to paying for items especially on eBay. How is it that you lost this amount of money. was there a charge back or reversal of payment? I have sold many things on line including numerous expensive items such as juicers using international money orders, checks and PayPal services. I always wait to ship until the money is in my hand before I ship. Sometimes I use an intermediary escrow service. As for your juicer: Why have you priced it at $500.00. Is there something special about it? For me to spend $500.00 plus shipping it would have to be in absolutely mint condition. Why else would one buy an older norwalk when newer models are selling at equal or slightly higher prices? |

Topic: Buy or Sell / Norwalk 225 This machine works great and I have some extra bags as well as the original instructional tapes that came with the machine. I have had a very bad experience with a phony U.S. Postal Order that cost me $685 and therefore I will ONlY accept payment via Western Union . The price is $500 FIRM plus shipping. I will supply verifiable credentials to the successful buyer for his/her verification of my information supplied. I can be contacted via email. Please leave name, address and phone number and the best time to call for arrangements. goldenopportunity@mrandmrsmidas.biz |

Topic: Buy or Sell / Norwalk Juicer 270 Stainless $1000 - Denver, CO I have a Norwalk Juicer 270 in Stainless Steel. This belonged to my sister who had cancerous tumors around her stomach and lungs. She couldnt eat regular foods or digest them so we got this juicer so we could nourish her. We bought it from a previous owner, but it was like new, about 3 years ago. My sister passed away 2 years ago and has been stored since then. She probably used it for a year or less. We ran into financial difficulties and need to sell it. It is still in great conditions and works great. I have all the parts except the manual book, video or filter bags. I prefer local pick up since it is super heavy and think it would be a hassel to ship and its very expensice. By picking it up you will be able to check it out also before you buy it. I am asking $1000 for it. Contact me at: hugo381 @ hotmail . com OR Call me at 619-218-6684 ask for Hugo. If you are emailing me, make sure you state that you are interested in the Norwalk Juicer on the subject box or I might dismiss it as junk mail. These are pictures of the actual Juicer I am selling: |

Topic: Talk about Juicing / Welles peoples press I had an earlier manual Norwalk model 150 with a separate manual press. The plate was metal. I sometimes had to pull down from the rear and front at the same time. If you could take some pictures and provide some measurements of the juice pan perhaps some of us could help with suggestions. |

Topic: Talk about Juicing / Welles peoples press I recently picked up a Welles people’s press on craigslist and figuered I’d try it out with my champion doing the grinding. The press which is manual works fine for pressing the pulp but getting it back down is a real bear. There are no springs to pull the press plate back down so I have to push on the front of the juice pan which is the only thing acessible. The pan is made out of plastic so it seems like it will break after a while. Anyone else ever have one of these. Any suggestions. Am I doing something wrong? |

Topic: Talk about Juicing / Comparable Norwalk Juicer? So far I haven’t noticed any change in color or flavor even after 2 days using the Breville. I usually consume most of it right away but once and awhile I’ll make too much and it seems to keep fine. The main thing is to peel your carrots and clean whatever else your juicing really well. If you don’t peel the carrots, the juice starts off with a brownish tinge and won’t last long, nor will it taste very good. |
